A unified voice for Women in Mining
The International WIM Alliance brings independent WIM Organisations together to connect, share knowledge, collaborate on common priorities and strengthen a collective global WIM voice. WIM Organisations remain fully independent.
Participation in the Alliance does not create affiliation, control or integration by the Secretariat, the Steering Committee or any other WIM Organisation. Through the Alliance, WIM Organisations can access shared resources, take part in consultations and initiatives, contribute to collective action, and increase visibility for their work.
How WIM Organisations can participate
By becoming a member, your WIM organisation joins a global community that’s breaking barriers, amplifying women’s voices, and creating a more gender inclusive and safe mining sector.
Participating WIM Organisations can:
- Connect with WIM leaders and organisations worldwide
- Access shared resources, tools and learning opportunities
- Contribute to consultations, campaigns and initiatives
- Share their work and increase visibility
- Take part in Alliance activities where relevant
- Help strengthen a collective global WIM voice
Participation in the International WIM Alliance is free of charge and designed to be flexible and practical. WIM Organisations can engage in different ways depending on their interests, capacity and priorities.
